Preparation for the YLE test we took in November was one of our main focus points in the Purple class. Everyone worked very hard on their English language skills. Here, the children were playing a speed-spelling game to test spelling retention on the new vocabulary they learned.
11月のPurpleクラスでは、ケンブリッジ国際児童英検（YLEテスト）に向けてレッスン中にテスト対策を行い、それぞれ大変熱心に学習に取り組む姿が見られました。
こちらの写真は、レッスンで学んだ新しいボキャブラリー（単語）のスペリングの定着度を計るために、みんなで「スピード・スペリングゲーム」にチャレンジしているところです。
To improve grammar, reading and listening skills, we always practiced listening to and reading different stories from our textbooks. We also learned new grammar points that we then used in our speaking and writing practices.
文法力やリーディング、リスニングのスキルを高めるために、レッスンではいつもテキストの中の様々な物語を聞いたり読んだりする練習を行っています。また、新しい文法を学ぶと、それをスピーキングやライティングの練習に活用しています。
We also prepared for the Speaking-session part of the exam. Here, we were all having a discussion on the different professions that we learned in Unit 6. Everyone took turns practicing to speak full sentences, and saying what they would like to be in the future. Everyone did their very best to get ready for the exam. Great job Purple class!
また、YLEテストのSpeaking部門の練習も行いました。この写真は、様々な職業について、みんなでディスカッションしているところです。順番にフルセンテンスで話す練習をしたり、将来どんな職業につきたいかを全員の前で発表しました。今回のYLEテストに挑戦する子、また受験しない子も、一人ひとりが本当に一生懸命英語を学んでいます。Purpleクラスの皆さん、これからも一緒に頑張りましょうね！
