いよいよ、2月もあと残すところ数日となりました。
朝晩はまだまだ寒いですが、お昼間は太陽の日差しが暖かく、
上着無しで外遊びする子もいてるほどです。
それでは、今週のサタデースクールの様子を紹介します。
The Cubs learned about animals during their circle time. They talked about farm animals and the different sounds they make!
Cubsクラスでは動物をテーマにサークルタイムをしました。牧場などにいる動物について学び、どんな鳴き声をするかについて話し合いました。
The Foxes made food cards and container cards to practice making sentences.
Foxesクラスでは食べ物と容器それぞれが書かれたカードを作り、
マッチングゲームの要領で引いたガードの単語を使って文章を作る練習をしました。
In gym today, the children played survival dodgeball. They worked in teams to throw balls at the other players!
Gymクラスではサバイバルドッジボールをして遊びました。
チーム対抗のゲームで大いに盛り上がりました。
The Orange class learned about “A day in the country” in their Kid’s Box textbooks.
They used nature themed words to answer questions.
オレンジクラスでは”A day in the country”（自然の中での1日）というテーマで
自然に関する単語を使って、テキストの質問に答えていきました。
The Red and Blue classes learned about food and rooms.
They played a listening game and asked each other questions to practice their comprehension skills.
RedクラスとBlueクラスは食べ物と部屋について学びました。ある文章を聞いて、
お互いに文章に関する質問をしあうリスニングゲームをしました。
The Advanced Orange class worked together to make a list of containers.
Advanced Orangeクラスでは、様々な容器の種類についてリストを作成しながら学びました。
The Advanced Yellow class reviewed myths and mythical beasts.
They talked about their favourite creatures and debated who would win in battle.
Advanced Yellowクラスでは神話と幻獣について復習しました。
子ども達は好きな幻の生き物についてディベートをしました。
To learn about colors, the Owls found colorful objects around the room.
Then, they sang “I See Something Pink”.
Owlsクラスでは色について学ぶため、教室にある様々な色のモノを見つける遊びをしました。
決まった色の物を見つけると子ども達は“I See Something Pink”(ピンクのもの見つけた！)というフレーズを練習しました。
The Cubs practiced their writing skills with the letter “k”.
Cubsクラスではライティングの時間に小文字のｋを書く練習をしました。
鉛筆を実際に持って書く前に、指を使って書き順を練習しています。
The Owls celebrated Hina Matsuri with a cute Hina Doll craft!
Owlsクラスでは3月2日のひな祭にちなんで、可愛いお雛様とお内裏様のクラフトを作成しました。
