暦の上では春ですが、まだまだ寒い日が続いています。
それでも子どもたちの元気な声が室内を暖かくしてくれます。
それでは2月5日のサタデースクールの様子をご紹介します。
The Chicks and Sparrows reviewed the days of the week during circle time and used their hands to gesture the letters in the song.
ChicksクラスとSparrowsクラスではサークルタイムに曜日の復習をしました。歌を歌いながら体でMondayのMの字をを作ったり、TuesdayのTを作ったりを体を動かしながら楽しみました。
The Red and Blue classes learned about rooms around our houses, and the different uses that we have for them.
RedクラスとBlueクラスは家の中のキッチン・寝室・お風呂場などの部屋について学びました。それぞれの部屋の中にはどんなものがあって、何をするための部屋なのかについて話し合っています。
The Green class studied technology in their Kid’s Box textbooks. They learned about different robots and what we use them for in our daily lives.
GreenクラスではKids Boxのテキストを使ってテクノロジーについて学びました。私たちの暮らしに使われている様々なロボットについて話し合いました。
The Advanced Yellow class learned about nature. They debated their opinions about advice that we could give others to protect the planet.
AdvancedYellowクラスでは自然をテーマに地球を守るためにするべきことについてディスカッションしました。
To celebrate Setsubun, the children played throwing games in gym. They practiced their hand-eye coordination while having fun!
Gymの時間には、節分にちなんで、豆に見立てたボールを投げて遊ぶゲームをしました。
The Cubs learned about colors in their circle time lesson. The children looked at their own clothing and talked about the many colors they could find.
Cubsクラスではサークルタイムに色について学びました。子ども達が着ている服・髪の色や目の色について話し合っています。
The Chicks and Sparrows sang the “Alphabet Chant” to practice recognizing letters of the alphabet.
ChicksクラスとSparrowsクラスでは”Alphabet Chant” (アルファベット チャンツ)を歌いながらアルファベットの文字を学びました。
To learn about containers, the Foxes played a fun matching game.
Foxesクラスでは容器（箱・グラス・コップ・ボウル・袋など）と食べ物をテーマに、マッチングゲームをしました。
The children enjoyed playing the drum in music time, in celebration of Setsubun!
Musicクラスでは和太鼓にチャレンジしました。はじめは恐る恐る音を鳴らしていた子ども達でしたが、慣れてくるとドンドンとお腹に響く程の音が出せるようになっていました。
The children went to the library during reading time to explore dinosaur books!
Reading Timeでは子ども達はライブラリーへ行き、恐竜の絵本を興味津々で読んでいました。
