明けましておめでとうございます。
2022年最初のサタデースクールです！
長い冬休みが終わり、久しぶりに園で会う子ども達は少し背が伸びていたり大人っぽくなっていたりと成長を感じました。
それでは、本日のサタデースクールの様子をご覧ください。
The advanced classes learned all about animals today. They practiced using comparative adjectives to describe them.
Advancedクラスでは動物をテーマに比較形容詞を使って様々動物を比較し観察しました。どの動物が一番大きい（biggest/bigger）/小さい(smallest/smaller)/背が高い(tallest/taller)/軽い(lightest/lighter)/重い(heaviest/heavier)など単語を使っていました。
The Green class is learning about technology in their Kid’s Box textbook lesson. They have been enjoying their discussions on what they use at home.
GreenクラスではKids Boxのテキストを使ってテクノロジーについて学びました。子ども達は生活の中でどんなテクノロジーを使っているのか話し合いました。
The children used the iPads to practice their reading skills on Learning A-Z!
iPadを使ってLearning A-Zでリーディングの練習をしました。
The Cubs learned body vocabulary during circle time. They sang different variations of “Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes!”
Cubsクラスではサークルタイムに”Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes!”という歌を歌って様々な身体のパーツについて学びました。先生の動きと指示を聞き取りながら楽しく歌って踊りました。
To learn about animals, the Wolves played a drawing game on the whiteboard!
Wolvesクラスでは動物をテーマに、Pictionaryというゲームをしました。一人がホワイトボードにある動物の絵を描き、その動物をみんなで当てています。
The Owls learned general vocabulary during circle time. They did a great job recalling the names of each object.
Owlsクラスではサークルタイムに生活の中でよく使う単語bucket（バケツ）やtoy(おもちゃ)などを復習しました。
During gym class, the Chicks and Sparrows played a fun ninja game. They are working on hand-eye coordination this month!
Gymの時間にはChicksクラスとSparrowsクラスが忍者ゲームをして遊びました。
今月はあのメジャーリーガー大谷翔平選手もトレーニングに取り入れている、ハンドアイコーディネーション（手の動作と、視覚の連動性）を取り入れたゲームをしていきます。
The Yamada preschool classes made unicorns today to learn about fairytales and myths!
山田校のPreschoolクラスではおとぎ話や伝説について学び、ユニコーンのクラフトを作成しました。
This month, the children are singing new songs for the new year, including: “New Year’s Dream”
今月はNew Yearをテーマに様々な曲を歌っていきます。今日は“New Year’s Dream”という歌を歌いました。
